
The FirePOWER squad took first place in the northern final of VALORANT Game Changers #2. On March 16, they faced Skull Cracker and won 2-1. The LAN region has its two favorite squads so far on the circuit, since in the first edition the final was starred by the same teams, only the result was the opposite.
With their results, Firepower and Skull Cracker now share the top of the table with 170 points. As part of the top four of the second edition, they secured their participation in the next Game Changers competition, along with FUSION (top 3) and LeaveWitness (top 4). With his victory, the roster formed by LinLin, Mmonch, Val, Jianna, JuW and Bonzitt in the role of coach, consolidates its composition and is preparing for the June edition.
The grand final started in Ascent, the Firepower pick, which had a solid first side in attack and closed it without difficulty by 13-5. The match went on to the election of Skull Cracker, who opted for Icebox and although he had greater opposition, he won the 13-4 with a slight advantage on both sides. The decider was played in Fracture and once again, Firepower proved to have a clear axis: it opened on the defending side 9-3 and finished shortly after 13-4. The Mexican player mmonch was the MVP of the grand final, who played with Killjoy, Chamber and Breach; she was top-fragger with 54 kills and scored a remarkable difference of 24 casualties.
In the south, the top 4 is already defined with Undead BK, Meta Gaming, KRÜ Esports and Movistar Optix. LAS will resume on March 17 with the duel between Undead BK and Meta Gaming in the lower bracket semifinal at 14 MX; 15 CO/EC; 17 AR/CL and at the end it will take place the match between KRÜ Esports and Movistar Optix in the upper bracket final, at 16 MX; 17 CO/EC; 19 AR/CL (approximate time).
