Sebastian Ramírez, 33, was a physical education teacher and lived in Adrogué. To generate extra money, he was dedicated to the distribution of goods and worked for the Logistics company S3. Yesterday he went to work, as usual, with the marked journey of his day aboard his Fiat Strada utility. The route had been placed in the “SimpliRoute” application -a logistics platform-. The final destination to complete his task indicated Colón 4169, in the Buenos Aires town of Lomas del Mirador, in the district of La Matanza. There, without their knowledge, three men were waiting for him at the door of an uninhabited house.
Around 20.30, Ramirez arrived at the scene. He got out of the vehicle and prepared to make the delivery. At that moment the worst happened: the three men threatened him with a knife to steal from him, he defended himself and one of them stuck his blade twice in his chest. As can be seen in the video that illustrates this note, Ramirez, badly injured, walked away from the suspects and fell to the ground a few meters later.
After the attack, the killers entered his vehicle, took out his wallet, cell phone and escaped. Meanwhile, Ramirez remained lying on the corner of Colon and Salcedo, on the border with Villa Las Antenas, until witnesses notified 911. Everything was recorded on a security camera in the area.
When the officers of Police Station No. 4 on the scene arrived at the scene, they found that the victim was lying on the floor and had already died as a result of the two knives.
The investigation was carried out by the prosecutor Gastón Duplaá, in charge of the Functional Unit for the Instruction of Homicide of La Matanza. According to what the investigators told Infobae, the main hypothesis at this time points to a crime of robbery.
Therefore, the case is classified as attempted aggravated robbery and criminis causa homicide, that is, killing to conceal another crime, which provides for a sentence of life imprisonment. According to the detectives in the case, the suspects are being searched intensively. It is believed that they would be from the area; mainly residents of the Las Antenas neighborhood.
After the first tests on the spot, it was discovered that the delivery man had a hoot on the right side of his chest and another in the right intercostal area. Meanwhile, three tracks were lifted from the utility van that will be analyzed to establish who they correspond to.
In addition, cash and other belongings were seized. As it transpired, inside the van there was an amount close to 35 thousand pesos, which the criminals did not take.
Ramírez lived in the San José neighborhood, in the town of Adrogué. The company he worked for, after the fact, on his Instagram profile published that today it will close due to duel.
