The Federal Ministry of Public Security (SSP) reported that two alleged perpetrators of the murder of journalist Armando Linares, which took place on March 15 in Zitácuaro, Michoacán, have already been visually identified.

In an account of the damage, the secretary of the agency, Ricardo Mejía, reported that the probable perpetrators of the crime had studied the home, as well as engaged in conversations with some neighbors to determine the journalist's whereabouts.

According to the follow-up, the hawks were riding motorcycles; one wore a black suit, while another wore a red football shirt. No details of subjects' names or aliases were provided.
