A few days ago, Chocobo GP finally reached the players, but the reception that the title had was not ideal. With a proposal that did not finish convincing, microtransactions became one of the biggest hotbeds of criticism.
It seems that Square Enix took note of the reaction of their community and through the Japanese Twitter account of the game they reported on the actions they will take to solve the main difficulties of the game.
“Thank you for playing Chocobo GP. We are currently receiving a lot of inquiries and would like to inform you about the status of various issues and future updates. We are investigating the cause of each problem and taking corrective action,” they said.
According to the translation of the publication - which came through reddit user Sat-am -, they will work to solve different problems related to the gameplay, but they will also put a great focus on microtransactions and in-game reward systems.
In the publication they noted that they modified the progression system, so that the experience needed to advance in the season is adequate and that players can get the rewards. They also anticipated changes during the seasons, so users won't have to wait for it to finish to get new content.
It is not the first time that Square Enix has shown that it pays attention to the demands of its players this week. A few days ago they announced the launch of a survey that aims to solve the main problems of Babylon's Fall, another of the releases that it failed to achieve live up to expectations.
The first stage of the questionnaire will be available until March 18 and focuses on aspects related to the graphics of the game. In addition, in a similar vein to what happened with Chocobo GP, they anticipated that the title will receive more updates at no cost, to incorporate new content.
