To avoid problems with the tax, the annual tax return will have to be filed; however, there is a deadline for this. In this regard, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) reminded how long legal entities (companies) will be able to carry it out and what is the procedure for doing it online.

According to the SAT, legal entities must comply with and consider the Income Tax (ISR) for the 2021 financial year.

It should be remembered that the annual return is used to record income from your salary, your deductions, perform the calculation of the annual tax, file in zeros, pay or request a balance in favor , that is, a cashback.

When is the deadline for filing the 2021 annual return?

The Treasury announced that legal entities must consider and execute it before March 31, as the deadline expires that day.

In the case of natural persons, interested parties may carry it out until April 30.

Who should file the annual return?

*Those who have received annual income greater than 400 thousand pesos.

* Those who have income from two employers, even if they are not more than 400 thousand pesos.

*When a person has received any income from liquidation, workers' compensation, pension or retirement.

*Landlords, that is, who collect rent on some properties.

*If wages come from abroad or from persons not obliged to withhold.

Even in this procedure some pensioners will also have to make the tax return.

In addition, there is an advantage in such processes, that is, that personal deductions can be considered. These are expenses that as a taxpayer you have the right to decrease from your accumulated income on the annual tax return.

It should be remembered that in order for the amounts in favor to be valid, they will have to have the corresponding proof of payment.

The balances in favor can be obtained by deducting expenses related to education, health, or even funeral expenses, among others.
