Sandra Echeverría spoke about Maria Felix's bioseries: “Pinch me because I don't believe it!”

For the first time, Sandra Echeverría gave statements about the next project that will bring her back to the screen after venturing into the music industry. With great emotion in her words, the actress confirmed that she will play Maria Felix in her bioseries and confessed that she will share credits with two other great talents.

In recent years there has been a boom in the production of biographical series that seek to portray the lives of great artists off stage, as there are rarely any personal details of actors and singers who left an indelible mark on the hearts of the audience. Such was the case with Juan Gabriel, José José, Luis Miguel, Jenni Rivera, Paquita la del Barrio, Joan Sebastian and Vicente Fernández.

But there was still a project on María Félix, one of the most emblematic women in the country, and Carmen Armendáriz will be the main one in charge of doing so with the help of Sandra Echeverría. After the announcement, the 37-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to share with her followers the excitement and great responsibility she feels.

“I can't be more proud to tell you that I'm actually going to play Maria Felix in the first series that will portray her life with two beautiful women Ximena Romo and Abril Vergara! Pinch me because I don't believe it! An iconic character from Mexico. How would they say 'the woman who stole the century' out there,” he wrote.

Sandra Echeverría's impression became the most awaited, as she will have the honor of playing a woman who, in addition to her talent, was also characterized by great courage and a prominent personality. In fact, some of his phrases have been immortalized such as: “It's not enough to be pretty, you have to know how to be” or “Between the public in Mexico and me there is a love story”.

So far, the protagonist of Looking for a Boyfriend for My Wife has not given any further statements about it. Meanwhile, thanks to the information she provided, it is known that Ximena Romo will give life to La Doña during her youth, while Abril Vergara will do so during her childhood.

Ximena Romo is a 31-year-old Mexican actress who made her debut in the film industry in 2008 with Voy a Explotar, a film directed by Gerardo Naranjo. Since then he has participated in other projects such as Tell me when you, As if it were the first time, The immoral life of the ideal couple, Gloria, Mentada de patero, among many others.

He has also dabbled in television with The Color of Passion, Two Moons, Someone Else and I'm Your Fan. Regarding her role as María Feliz, the performer also shared her feelings through an Instagram post, where she said that she spent several months preparing for the project and reflecting on the legacy that La Doña left in women.

“After months of preparation, study, courage, horses, books, videos, films, in short, absolute rapport to take on a great responsibility yesterday we finally started filming the life of the most important woman in Mexico. Today more than ever, its history and legacy speak directly to women and the world [...] I can't sleep from excitement,” he wrote.

Like her colleagues, Abril Vergara said she is very happy and excited about the opportunity to participate in the ambitious project, she let it be known on her Instagram profile.

So far it is known that those who want to enjoy the series will be able to do so through the ViX Plus streaming platform, but it is unknown when it will be available.
