Karol Sevilla recalled his time at “La Rosa de Guadalupe”: “It is a very big pride”

Karol Sevilla confessed that La Rosa de Guadalupe has a very important meaning in his career because it represents his first steps on television. He recalled a specific chapter where a meme came out that is currently circulating on social networks and defended the interpretation of Emilio Osorio as Alejandro Fernández in The Last King: The Son of the People.

The Disney star gave an interview for La Caminera, a radio program hosted by Capi Pérez, Fran Hevia and Fer Gay. During the talk, the singer commented that she achieved fame after her participation in Soy Luna, whose character is still valid to the extent that articles from the program that ended almost four years ago are still being sold.

In this context, the host of Venga la Alegría acknowledged that his guest has managed to gain a large number of fans thanks to his participation in television projects. In this way, the comedian recalled that at the beginning of his career he was part of La rosa de Guadalupe: “They are the most popular episodes,” he said.

According to the information provided by Fran Hevia, the episodes of the program with the most views on YouTube are those where the performer of From today collaborated. In this regard, Karol Sevilla mentioned that possibly the success that these episodes have achieved is due to his protagonist in Disney, since he believes that before that he was not so well known.

“I think that went off to Soy Luna, didn't it? , because before no one ran into me. There is a chapter that even became a meme [...] is a big old man who pulls the vibe at a 13 or 12 year old girl who was at the time and it's a meme right now on Facebook and so, the truth makes me laugh,” he said.

Emilio Osorio's girlfriend referred to the chapter El tenilino, where the main theme revolved around the abuse of minors and whose YouTube video has already exceeded 4 million views. Other episodes where he starred were The Kiss of the Frog Prince and Homeless.

The 22-year-old singer hinted that she doesn't bother with the memes they make about her characters, said she was very surprised by how many people have seen her episodes in the Televisa project and commented that the company has been very smart to broadcast them continuously because they increase the rating.

“La Rosa is ready, Televisa is also repeating them again, the good thing is that they keep paying me, keep repeating it”, he said with laughter. “Hundreds of millions of views, something that K-Pop groups don't reach lately,” added Fran Hevia.

Regarding the impact that her acting debut has had on her career in general, Karol Sevilla commented that she thought it was important for her fans to see the different facets she has had in recent years because they symbolize her foray into the medium and mentioned that she is very proud of it.

“It is a great pride for me to say: 'There are my first tools with which I learned, with which I started as Karol, the artist, '” he said.

On the other hand, during a meeting with the media, the Mexican interpreter jumped to the defense of her boyfriend, Emilio Osorio, for the work she has done in the first season of El Último Rey : The Son of the People, because after the premiere he was severely criticized.
