A few days ago, 'Deja' was released, a new musical bet that was presented to the public by Mexican singer Denni Den, in the company of her colleague and compatriot Jessica Díaz, with whom she joined to sing to women's empowerment.

As stated by the two artists in an interview with Infobae Colombia, their new song is also an invitation to anyone who is willing to leave their fears behind and want to give themselves a new chance in love.

Regarding the need to sing to female empowerment, Jessica Díaz warned that it is urgent to share with people a message urging to change the patriarchal heritage, especially now that the music industry is more crowded with women than ever.

“I think everyone has the right to be happy, but they don't do it because of their insecurities and because they don't feel free, so it's vital that through music we leave a message that changes all these feelings. I like that whoever listens to me feels motivated to move forward, face their problems and overcome adversities, and that's how I feel about 'Deja', because it's music made to empower women,” added the 29-year-old actress, who is remembered for Mexican productions like 'Loving Muerte' and 'Like You There Are No Two'.

It should be remembered that this single was produced by Nico Legretti (winner of a Latin Grammy Award), who also participated in the authorship with Denni Den and Valeria Martínez, renowned composer of artists such as Sebastián Yatra, Danna Paola and others.

Already in the video, the story of the reunion of old loves through a trip and flashbacks in order to remember the feeling they could never live because of fear of those feelings, this audiovisual production was shot at an old gas station in Xochimilco in CDMX.

'Deja' was presented at an exclusive event in the city of Bogotá, where several influencers and opinion leaders participated, starting their promotion process for Colombia.

Denni Den, for example, began her musical internationalization after participating as an actress in prestigious audiovisual projects on Netflix, Teleset and Telemundo.

While Jessica Díaz, the recent winner of the ASCAP award for her single “Como tu no hay dos” and her recent participation in the reality show 'Asi se dance', also seeks to give a new air to her musical career with this new release.

“I don't have any proposals to act, but I have prepared a musical collaboration with a Colombian artist and, although I can tell you little yet, it brings incredible energy and is breaking it in your country. We are already working on all the music and the video clip,” added Denni, who in passing cleared doubts about her romantic life and assured that she is single.
