In all 60 military districts of the country, citizens can visit and take advantage of these days. Among them, discounts on military books, discounts of up to 60% on military compensation, and discounts of up to 90% on fines or money transfers, among others.
One of the eligibility requirements is to register at www.libretamilitar.mil.co.You can also check the military district where you have to attend, the treatment day from 7 am to 6 pm.
Some procedures and requirements are done virtually (for example, uploading a copy of ID, uploading a civil identity record, and submitting a copy of a bachelor's certificate). Upload a photo of a 3x4 laptop with a blue background, if applicable.
The date starts on March 15 and lasts until April 30. The next day is from June 20 to July 20, from September 7 to October 10, and last year starts from December 1 to December 16 of the same month.
You may be exempted from this service if one of the 16 grounds set out in Law 1861 of 2017 is true.
- A man or a woman if he is the only child.
- An orphan from a father or mother who goes to work to support a brother or sister who cannot earn a living.
- Children of parents who cannot work or have reached the age of 60 if they do not have income, pension or means of livelihood. However, the child must be spying on their children.
- a brother or son who died or suffered a complete and permanent disability as a result of forced military service, combat operations, service or as a result of its completion;
- Children of deceased officers, non-commissioned officers, professional soldiers and marines, agents, managers and security forces.
- Clergy and religion according to the current consensus agreement. Similarly, similar classes of other religions and churches are constantly committed to their service.
- Married people living in marriage.
- Those who prove the existence of a legally declared de facto marriage.
- Persons with permanent physical, mental, or sensory disabilities
- Indigenous people who certify their cultural, social and economic integrity based on certificates issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- Colombian men who, after registration, did not have a male component in the Civil Registry.
- Victims of armed conflict registered in the Single Victim Registration System (RUV).
All of these exceptions must be supported by documentation and can be reviewed on the War Definitions tab at www.recruitamiento.mil.co.
In order to receive the benefits offered by the Ministry of Defense, one of five requirements must be met: persons who are delayed due to dismissal or high school and who are not present for graduation, citizens over 24 years of age (maximum enrollment age or older), persons declared unsuitable for the Board of Directors.Psychophysical Health Directors, foreigners living at least 3 years of age, conscientious objectors, children only, and persons claiming to be permanent physical or mental status and/or head of household.
