The ID @Xbox event showed a wide gallery of new titles by independent studios, many of them that will go on to reinforce the Xbox Game Pass service catalog.
This division of Microsoft is a special program that provides tools to groups of developers outside the company and whose games are usually first released from any Xbox alternative before reaching other consoles.
These were the announcements that left something to talk about after the event:
CHINATOWN DETECTIVE AGENCY - General Interactive Co.
The point-and-click graphic adventure started its Kickstarter two years ago and caught the attention of the Xbox program. The narrative focuses on the story of Amira Darma, a detective who has to select her clients' orders and solve the strangest cases.
With an interface similar to “Where is Carmen San Diego?” , players are invited to navigate the cybernoir world of China Town Detective Agency.
VOIDTRAIN-Nearga
The simulator will invite players to survive in a bizarre world whose narrative hides the secrets of the origin of their universe. The creators of Voidtrain hope that users will discover the keys to living in a floating vacuum and can survive long enough to understand what it is abouta story that begins with a train that runs through a parallel reality.
TREK TO YOMI- Leonard Menchiari, Flying Wild Hog, Devolver Digital
The cinematic adventure that looks like something out of a film by Akira Kurosawa briefly showed the brawling keys to his adventure developed in the Japanese feudal period.
CURSED TO GOLF- Chuhai Labs
With a bizarre proposal, Cursed to Golf seeks to give a twist to the mechanics of the sport and showed a story where the protagonist must escape from a colorful purgatory with his golf skills.
WHALEFALL- Whitetorn Games
This RPG also started as a Kickstarter that soon gained traction thanks to its aesthetics and gameplay. Players will embark on this tribute to the genre that guides them to the resolution of a battle narrative and novel visual.
THERE IS NO LIGHT- Zelart
Zelart's team showed another RPG adventure and took advantage of a 16-bit aesthetic to expose a grim world where each dungeon solves an adventure full of hostile zombies.
TUNIC- Finji
This long-awaited trailer from Finji showed part of the gameplay of Tunic, an isometric video game with tints of puzzles such as Monument Valley and missions that recall the first titles of the Legend of Zelda franchise. But, in addition, the game was released surprisingly on Xbox Game Pass, where it is already available.
WRESTLE QUEST- Skybound Games & Mega Cat Studios
Who doesn't like wrestling? This adventure follows a protagonist who seeks to beat the legendary figures of the discipline to finally become the best fighter in history.
FLINTLOCK- A44 Games
The creators of Ashen add an RPG adventure that wants to develop an open world in which the main character's magical abilities are the only chance to save humanity.
IMMORTALITY- Sam Barlow
From the creator of the cinematic games Her Story and Telling Lie, this interactive cinematic adventure proposes to investigate the disappearance of an actress after recording a trilogy of films that were never released.
ESCAPE ACADEMY
With the alternative of a single player or cooperative campaign, the video game proposes a school where all its classes are escape rooms. The Academy offers more than a dozen rooms/puzzles to its players and musicalization by Doseone, composer in Enter the Gungeon and Sludge Life.
LOST EIDOLONS- Ocean Drive Studio
The medieval fantasy tactical RPG showed a new breakthrough where you can see feudal clashes that combine tactical RTS style with third-person moments.
