German Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin), positive for coronavirus, will not participate in the first F1 Grand Prix in Bahrain, from Friday to Sunday, and will be replaced by compatriot Nico Hülkenberg, his team announced in a statement on Thursday.
Since testing in Bahrain last week, Vettel is the second driver to test positive, after the Australian Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren), who is already recovered and will be able to participate in the race.
