Foolishness, pride, lack of education: businessman Jean Claude Bessudo talked about the fraud that his grandson confessed in the elections

Young Suani Lefebre Bessudo's sense of humor was not funny; after a video was released in which he spoke of fraud charges against 'petrists' while he was a voting jury in the legislative elections; even his grandfather, businessman Jean Claude Bessudo, asked the authorities to investigate the case.

Through an Instagram story, a young student at the University of Los Andes told history treaty voters the “moves” he would have made to be a jury. He changed the election documents with the voter's data and handed them out only when requested, and handed them out the Democratic Center card if he was clueless. In fact, there was no specific voting card for that party.

However, the video with confessions went viral on social networks, and not only showed a lack of knowledge of the electoral process that took place in the United States on March 13, but also meant evidence of electoral fraud at the polling station of the young Vesdo, in the midst of the suspicions sustained by the Treaty of History of the Whole Process.

He said that the complaint became more relevant when it became known that the author of the video was the grandson of the businessman Jean Claude Bessudo, president of Aviatur, who was controversial after a few minutes through an anonymous message and was unbelievable, he said in an interview with the newspaper El Tiempo.

“Obviously, I was surprised,” the businessman said. Something very inappropriate in the era of polarization in this country.” Bessudo said he was upset that linking his last name with electoral fraud had an impact on the image that his family tried to build for more than 60 years in Colombia.

However, he did not say whether his grandson committed election fraud or not, but asked the authorities to determine the veracity of his words.Faced with controversy, Suani Lefevre published another story with an apology and said it was a joke. Businessman Bessudo did not hear such a reaction and is hoping that it will be true.

Bessudo said, “He did not measure the consequences of the “stupidity” of the statement. “I think what he said in that video is completely alien to reality... I insist that he really needs professional accompaniment to get rid of the need to land and feed his pride.”

Both the businessman and his grandson studied at the prestigious Liceo Francés school in Bogotá, and Bessudo recalls his claims about the values of freedom, equality and brotherhood that he trusted and taught in his family.However, Suani Lefevre's actions were described as contrary to that teaching.

“The only thing I can hope for is that the prosecutor's office, which announced the former investigation, will proceed and act with all the rigor that the rules dictate,” he said.

The prosecutor's office has already announced that it will check the confession video to determine whether an election crime has occurred, and will ask the young man to testify and determine the truthfulness of the facts.In the event of a criminal case, he may be sentenced to imprisonment between 4 and 12 years and cannot hold public office for 6 to 16 years.
