The Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (CCIAP) organizes ExpoComer, a multisectoral trade exhibition that highlights, in its thirty-eighth version, its variety in three major categories of products such as food, beverages and agricultural products (Fresh fruits, dehydrated fruits, fruit juice, fruit pulps of fruit, chocolate, specialty coffees, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages); textiles, clothing and accessories (jewelry, clothing and unisex clothing, handicrafts (accessories), footwear, equipment (uniforms); and technology and electronics, with an exhibition area of approximately 15, 000 square meters.

The event will be dedicated to facilitating commercial exchange between manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and customers in order to generate opportunities for growth and economic strengthening. Similarly, for exhibitors it will be a springboard where they can offer their services to different customers in the region.

This week, the activity “Set-up and Appropriation of Negotiations” will be launched, as part of the plan that ranges from the call and selection of entrepreneurs, to participation in the fair with logistical support and scheduling of business rounds, this by the municipal administration.

The coffee country will have 2 companies as exhibitors and 10 more on a trade mission. This event is not only a great opportunity for the country, but for a department like Tolima that is constantly growing. It is estimated that in future events the people of Ibaguera will continue to play an active role, as expectations are very high regarding what can be offered and the new ways of allowing trade borders to expand for the development of Ibagué.

Businessmen will receive as a benefit the accreditations for admission to the fair, ground transportation Ibagué - Bogotá, air tickets to and from Panama, accommodation and additionally, in the case of exhibitors, a 3-square-meter stand that will be shared between them.

In addition, they will have to have a valid passport, complete vaccination scheme against Covid-19, yellow fever certification and PCR tests, requirements that are mandatory to enter Panama.
