With the scheduling of the new Opening Day in Major League Baseball (MLB), and the start of training camps, the teams have begun to strengthen. In recent seasons, Julio Urias has become one of the banners of the Los Angeles Dodgers, although for the 2022 season, figures could be added that will place the Californian ninth as a candidate to win the Autumn Classic.
After the signing of the new Collective Agreement between MLB and the Players' Union, the Dodger operators set out to maintain and integrate new figures into their ninth. In the most recent hours, a couple of additions were announced, both offensive and defensive, which could form one of the most enviable rosters in the next season.
The first news confirmed the stay of a colleague of Urias in the hill. The experienced Clayton Kershaw, who became a free agent since the end of the 2021 campaign, decided to stay for another year at the institution that has hosted him throughout his professional career, in exchange for $17 million, according to the MLB portal. After having healed from his elbow injury, and backed by a rich record, he has the slogan of reaching the postseason.
