London, March 17 British-Iranian citizens Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Anoooshe Ashoori spent years in Iran for espionage, which they had always denied, and arrived in the UK this Thursday and are already reunited with their families. Zagari-Ratcliffe, 43, and Ashuori (67) landed at the British Army (RAF) military base in Breeze Norton early in the morning and were welcomed by their families. The two citizens left Tehran on Wednesday after the authorities of both countries secured their release. A 43-year-old woman who traveled to her home country to visit her family with her daughter was sentenced to 5 years in prison for a crime against national security. He was electronically controlled under house arrest in his parents' residence last year due to a pandemic. In the meantime, Ashuri, a retired civil engineer, was arrested for espionage in 2017 and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
