Britain will deploy a missile defense system in Poland

Britain will soon deploy Skysaber medium-range missile systems in Poland, British Defense Minister Ben Wallis announced in Warsaw on Thursday.

The goal is to help Poland protect its airspace from possible Russian aggression in the context of the Ukrainian war, he said.

Wallis told the camera after a meeting with Mariusz Blaszczak of Poland that “it is possible to announce the decision to deploy the Sky Sabre, a medium-range anti-aircraft missile system, with about 100 people in Poland.”

He also stressed that “Poland has a lot of burdens as a result of this war,” and said that Britain “will protect Polish airspace from further aggression by Russia.”
