The Lammens family is in deep pain over the death of Carlos, former leader of San Lorenzo and brother of Matías, Minister of Tourism and Sports. The former director of the Cyclone lost his life at the age of 50, after suffering an accident at his home in Florencio Varela. Although he was hospitalized for the last few days in a Buenos Aires clinic, in the last hours the news of his death was confirmed.

Through social networks, the Barça world fired the former club official. Supporters, relatives, members of the current Board of Directors and party media expressed the feelings of anguish caused by the loss of the former leader.

“From Peña Osvaldo Soriano we want to extend our sincere condolences to Matías Lammens and to Carlos Lammens' family and friends,” wrote the Cuervo branch in Madrid. “Our condolences for the death of Carlos Lammens”, was added the radio program “San Lorenzo yesterday, today and always”.

During his time in the Boedo entity, Carlos Lammens took over as vocal dedicated himself to promoting and accompanying the youth divisions of the club. The international figure with a past in the Adolfo Gaich National Team was one of the most outstanding footballers who gained a foothold in the first division thanks to the contribution of the manager.
