A man was arrested last night while climbing the bars of the house of Carlos Alberto Vera Barros, senior judge of Federal Court No. 3 in Rosario. According to the data that transpired, the investigators believe - for now - that the suspect's intention was to enter the house with the intention of stealing it.

The strange episode occurred yesterday around 23:30 at the magistrate's home, located at 3600 Juan Agustín Maza Street, in the north of the city of Santa Fe. The alleged thief was discovered by a corporal of the Federal Police guarding the home, who, when observing how the criminal was trying to enter the house, gave him the voice aloud, identified himself as an officer and arrested him. The man who wanted to enter the house of magistrate Vera Barros was identified as G.D.P., a 36-year-old man with three domiciles in the Santa Fe city of Granadero Baigorria. According to official information, he was employed in a construction company until 2010. From that year on, there are no more employment records. Judicial sources told Infobae that the Justice requested that he be reviewed by a forensic doctor to assess his psychiatric status. “Apparently it could have some difficulty,” they told this media outlet.

Judge Vera Barros is in charge of one of Rosario's two federal criminal courts. He has been in court for more than thirty years and is carrying out sensitive cases linked - among several issues - to drug trafficking, a scourge that strikes the entire province of Santa Fe. One of the most recent and with wide repercussion was his intervention in the case of the triple crime on the way out of a wedding in Rosario.

Two days ago, for example, the Anti-Drug Division of the Argentine Federal Police in Rosario carried out more than a dozen raids in the west for a drug trafficking cause, against a gang dedicated to supplying drugs to bunkers in the Triangulo and Godoy neighborhoods. There are twelve detainees and kidnapping of 42 kilos of marijuana and almost two kilos of cocaine.

The operations were ordered by the court of Vera Barros and the Federal Prosecutor's Office 3 of Adriana Saccone. According to Rosario 3, Maximiliano Giménez, one of the victims of the triple crime of marriage, was suspected in the investigation. The uniformed seized 1.8 kilos of cocaine and 42 marijuana, two thousand dollars, 318,000 pesos, 17 cell phones, precision balances and documentation.

Meanwhile, the narco enemy uses drones,” explained the judge.
