Ukrainian authorities reported the deaths of seven civilians in Chernigov and Donetsk, and a shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region by Russian troops on the twentieth day of the invasion.

The Chernigov Prosecutor General's Office launched a pre-trial investigation into the shooting of three young men by the Russian Army in this region.

“Under the procedural direction of the Chernigov Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched for violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder,” the Attorney General's Office reported on Telegram.

On the other hand, at least four people have been killed and three injured this Tuesday in the Donetsk region.

According to official figures, a total of 83 people have been killed and 365 civilians have been injured in the Donetsk region since the start of the Russian invasion

“The Russians have killed four more residents of the region: two in Vuhledar and two in Verkhnotoretsky. In addition, today we managed to clarify the information about two more deaths in Yatskivka as a result of the air strike on 10 March and about two deaths in Mariupol. Two people were injured on Tuesday in Avdiivka and one in Oleksandropol,” the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported on Facebook.

Thus, Kyrylenko stated that the total number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovaja cannot yet be determined.

According to official figures, a total of 83 people have been killed and 365 civilians have been injured in the Donetsk region since the start of the Russian invasion. The data is given without taking into account all those killed and injured in Mariupol and Volnovakja, Ukrainian agency Ukrinform said.

On the other hand, Russian troops bombed on Tuesday in the Dnipropetrovsk region between Nikopol and Oleksiyivka.

“An enemy bombardment between Nikopol and Oleksiyivka has just taken place. The firefighters are working there now. There was no bombing in Nikopol,” Nikopol Mayor Oleksandr Sayuk announced on Facebook.

The total number of victims in Mariupol cannot yet be determined

Different sources from Ukraine reported on Tuesday that Russian forces took patients and medical personnel hostage from a hospital in the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol.

According to the BBC, Mariupol Deputy Mayor Sergei Orlov said: “We received information that the Russian army captured our largest hospital... and they are using our patients and doctors as hostages. We can confirm this information and also the governor of the Donetsk region has confirmed this confirmation. We received information that there are 400 people there.”

Russian troops reportedly took some 400 people from neighboring homes to the Regional Intensive Care Hospital on the outskirts of Mariupol, where they are now being held hostage.
