With 29 deaths and more than 200 injuries as part of the 30th anniversary of the attack on the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, the diplomatic headquarters is launching a national memorial campaign under the slogan “Traces of Terror”.
The initiative aims to spread the message of denial of terrorism by reflecting the deep marks that were left in society due to the attacks that occurred on March 17, 1992 and facilitating the memory of what happened.
The project consists of a 50-second point, several graphic fragments and, finally, a filter for Instagram that can be used by those who want to participate in that campaign through social networks.
In an audiovisual work that can be seen this week on the screens of public roads and subway lines in the city of Buenos Aires, people who carry out their daily tasks cover their faces and bodies with ashes to evoke a moment after the attack and represent a sign of the attack.The tragedy still exists. “Men, women or children, terrorism has affected all of us as a society.” The campaign says.
