Melgar vs Cienciano: the attacker of the Cusco team Nicolás Rinaldi encouraged to play a sensational 'chalaca' in the second leg of phase 1 of the 2022 Copa Sudamericana that was played at the UNSA stadium in Arequipa.

In the first leg, Cienciano drew with Melgar last Tuesday, March 8 at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega stadium in Cusco. Striker Bernardo Cuesta (24′) opened the score for the red-and-black square and the tie was scored by Josué Estrada (48′)
Melgar beat Cienciano 1-0 on the second leg and entered the group stage of the 2022 Copa Sudamericana. To form the groups of the tournament, a draw will be held next Friday, March 18.
Metropolitanos de Venezuela qualified for the group stage after beating Estudiantes de Mérida, Oriente Petrolero de Bolivia and General Caballero of Paraguay advanced to the next round by beating Royal Pari and Sol América, respectively.
