Jaime Rodríguez Calderón (Jaime Rodríguez Calderón), the former governor of Nuevo León, known as El Bronco, was arrested for being involved in an election crime and was admitted to the apodaka prison until his legal status was determined.

This prompted the opinion of the defenders and opponents of Bronco. Bronco posted various messages on social networks on the topic and reached the comments of news programs or columns in various newspapers.

This is the case of the most recent text by Raymundo Riva Palacio, journalist from Ejecentral, who is making extensive efforts to enlist people who allegedly betray the former governor and political actors who benefit from it.

Undoubtedly, he added that the one who is experiencing the best moment is Samuel Garcia, who originally filed a complaint against Congressman Mariela Saldi Barr. The Mexican columnist assured that this was “an act of poetic justice on the part of Garcia.”

However, he was also convinced that this was a victory in which several betrayals were involved. First, he referred to a political group consisting of Pablo de Hoyos Koloffon, the state election criminal prosecutor, and the provincial deputy director Francisco Cienfuegos and Rodrigo Medina, the government predecessor of the Bronco.

On the other hand, he also mentioned Manuel Vital, one of the funders of the Jamie Rodriguez Calderon campaign. According to Riva Palacio, political sources were convinced that this person had betrayed him.

Finally, he put the other winner of the legal action, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado on the table. His confrontation began in 2018 to find the presidency. In addition, the columnist was convinced that he “protected” Samuel Garcia from the election of the governor.

“The president is watching his old political opponents fall through a third party,” he considered Ejecentral, but warned Samuel Garcia that he should not be calm “because the tail is long.”

In this regard, he assured Governor Samuel García Nuevo León, champion of the civil movement, that “today's glory can be the hell of tomorrow.”

The arrest warrant against him was issued by the state control and oral trial judge at the request of the prosecutor's office, who decided that he should remain in pre-trial detention because of the seriousness of the crime he committed.

A public complaint against a former official was filed by Samuel García himself, and Samuel García went to the appropriate authorities to present evidence of the events that occurred when the current governor served as a local senator.

Subsequently, a resolution of the Superior Chamber of Electoral Tribunals (TEPJF) of the Federal Judiciary issued a resolution confirming that Jamie Rodriguez Calderon and Government Secretary General Manuel González used public resources to collect public resources.

Through the TEPJF investigation, it was possible to determine that 11 agents of the District Prosecutor's Office at the time participated in the collection of signatures in favor of wild horses, and for that reason they were disqualified from their positions and prosecuted for electoral offenses. Similarly, the status of civil servants and the certificate that approved it by the State Register of Public Security Personnel was also withdrawn.

After taking action against the deputies, the court detected irregular movements and simulated operations of the Deputy Minister of Taxation Nuevo León, which were linked to the bank accounts of two close Bronco employees who were frozen by the tax authorities.
