Juan Gerardo Treviño Chavez, leader of the Northeast Cartel, is a long way from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This Wednesday, a few hours after his deportation from Mexico to the United States, the formal accusation against this subject known in the criminal world as El Huevo was announced.
According to the Texas Federal Court document, to which correspondent Juan Alberto Vazquez has had access, the criminal leader is charged with at least 11 counts, including manufacturing, possessing, distributing, and importing marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine into the United States, money laundering and conspiring to persuade and employ minors for the organization's criminal activities.
