Entrepreneur: We need to commit!

Creative transgression, which is the driving force to change the established order of things, markets, trends, products and the world itself, is the most impressive and unstoppable driving force that we can use.

In the sense declared by the Royal Spanish Academy, what is committed is “against the law, norm, covenant or custom”, that is, against the tide. Nicholas Copernicus, because of this action, no one gave a name to his grave and discovered it a few centuries after his death. There is enlightenment in the world, but there is no place for the offender...

Fortunately, this has not happened to all the modern offenders who, in one way or another, have shaped the last century of our history. I want to be very biased towards this concept, so I will only mention one case that I summarize: Before devising a smartphone that represents a technological paradigm shift in the 21st century, Steve Jobs founded a company that creates computer cartoons. Even after Tom Hanks gave life to Woody.

We hear the phrase “think outside the box” once and a thousand times that someone gets a mist of mold and mothballs when they repeat it. Perhaps that “aging” has taken us away from the meaning of rebellion, innovation, transgression.

Luckily, we have given powerful rewards to the new rebels of our time in the Middle Ages, in a world that penalized those who transgressed while thinking outside the box. Although it is a creative transgression from a fair and humble perspective, the urge to change the established order of things, markets, trends, products and the world itself is the most impressive and unstoppable driving force that we humans can use.

Each of us who calls ourselves “entrepreneurs” to emphasize ourselves positively in the same society has a duty to create value, because in order to build a fairer society, we must consider ourselves equal, respectful, and with a honeycomb heart.

It is a task that we take on every day of our lives. Although it does not indicate it, we imagine, contrary to the established order, a shortcut to a path that we do not know very well, a new method to an old dilemma that is completely unfamiliar to us, or a solution to a problem that no one has told us. In this process, we learn about order, methods, dilemmas and problems, and resign the old theory of exudation of intelligence and creation.

Entrepreneurs ordered the right measure of confusion, from which we obtain a new order. That is a necessary transgression, and it should be our conscious declaration.
