Egan Bernal spoke about the elections: “The center lacks a little strength”

After the elections of March 13 and the presidential candidates and a new configured congress have already been defined, Colombians have been giving their opinion on the future of the country, the outcome of the elections, the burned ones, the possible alliances, the role of the former presidents.

However, there are those who are annoyed that some people, depending on their trade, think about politics, as if singing or riding a bicycle made it impossible for them to participate in the debate.

Faced with this attitude of many of his followers, cyclist Egan Bernal did not cut himself into words and from his Twitter account he sent a clear message to those who ask him not to air his political ideas in public.

In this regard, in the late afternoon of March 15, Bernal reawakened the debate when he published a new tweet in which he makes it clear that he does not yet know who he is going to vote for, since there are ideas that he likes both on the left and on the right. Of course, in the center he sees it a little flimsy and without strength.

“At this point I could be a little ambidextrous, because I see good ideas on both sides; the center needs a little strength in my opinion, even if it has good intentions. But... the question that has no answer is: can everything they promise really be fulfilled? ” wrote the champion of the Giro and the Tour.

In recent days Bernal has been active on Twitter writing his impressions of the electoral contest, so he also stated that, according to him, there are two opposing blocs.

It hasn't been two months yet since the accident with which Egan Bernal scared all of Colombia and the world of cycling, happened, and in recent days, the Colombian cyclist published a photo showing how he is progressing in his recovery process.

Wearing the INEOS Team uniform, headphones and riding his bike, the Colombian rider wrote: “Guess who is back on his bike and feels like a chimba! As long as there is faith, anything is possible. And I want to tell you that when you really want something, there is NO BUT that is worth it. #unavidadeexcesos”.

One of the first to manifest himself on social networks after seeing the Colombian cyclist's publication was Alberto Contador. The Spaniard who was twice champion of the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France and three-time champion of the Vuelta a España has closely followed the recovery of the Colombian cyclist and upon seeing the image he wrote: “IMPRESSIVE”.
