Duque begins construction of Bogotá's Science, Technology and Innovation District

On Tuesday, March 15, the President of Colombia, Ivan Duque, announced the creation of the National Association of Governments for the construction of the Bogotá region for science, technology and innovation, which expects the country's public and private sectors will contribute a total of $300 billion.

Over the next 10 years, Colombia will attract 30 billion pesos to promote science, technology and innovation in the United States. Of this money, $200 billion will be delivered to this sector through Conpes, and the remaining $100 million will be delivered through the state loyalty system.
