Crime in La Victoria: Two cops were shot to steal 10,000 soles

Victory was once again the scene of crime. Two retired police officers were shot to steal more than 10,000 suns.Both provided private security services and protected a young man who was on the way to deposit that amount to a bank located between pieces of Francisco Graña crossing Victor Alzamora.

Three of them got into the car at 2:30 p.m., where six criminals intercepted them using motorcycles. s. One of them cut down vehicles and started shooting vehicles to steal money. This shooting surprised people close to the area.

Meanwhile, one of his colleagues told Panamericana that the two retired police officers always transferred money. “It is unlikely that he was killed in an amount not exceeding 11,000 suns,” he regretted.

“The person who survived was from the company and had money to deposit in the bank. We are custodians because we are a retired police officer (...) This was a blow. We do this every week. It's unfortunate. You can imagine it.” He continued.

One of the victims was identified as Ricardo Félix Morales Gallardo, who was driving a car at the age of 62 after retirement. National Police (PNP). The name of the co-pilot was not disclosed by the authorities in charge, since it would be cash.

Precisely, the latter began to draw a gun and shoot at the thug, injuring one of them. “Angel Vladimir Barretto has been detained and is being held at the Dos de Mayo Hospital. In the hospital, 'Angelito' confessed a crime in which he sentenced him to prison in Lurigancho for a crime of robbery. “The old man (the criminal of La Victoria) called 'Negrito', and this guy told me the word. We came from Indentia and met at Ariola's' Metro '. We went to the age of six. Two on each linear motorcycle, the other in a minivan. They said we had money. The person who started filming was' Negrito '. I shot at the rim. The goal was the money (in the car).” He said.

As for the money manager, one of his colleagues said that he was involved in the crime and made a statement to the authorities. “He was in the unit and was in the back,” said his partner.

In addition to detectives, more than 10 bullet cases have been found on the track, according to PNP robbery and murder agents. It is hoped that footage from security cameras in the area will help catch other criminals.
