Wall Street opens higher as oil falls

The New York Stock Exchange opened in the green on Tuesday, when oil prices continued to fall and the US Federal Reserve begins its monetary meeting: the Dow Jones gained 0.58% and the Nasdaq, 1.05% a few minutes after the opening.

On Monday, the Dow Jones index stagnated at 32,945.24 points. The technologically dominant Nasdaq fell 2.04% to 12,581.22 points, more than 20% below its peak three months ago. And the S&P 500 index lost 0.74% to 4,173.11 points.
