The radio host disagreed with the harsh comments that emerged on social networks, where several users pointed out that there was' fraud 'in the contest of beauty.

The former television host made it clear that not always because they have a 'famous' surname you have the simplest things, but rather the opposite, because they must work twice as hard to avoid being overshadowed by their parents.

On the other hand, the radio announcer was somewhat annoyed with the parents of the contestants who failed to win, as many of them have not been prepared to accept a defeat and are now trying to hurt the winners.

“I really understand that all dads want their daughters to win, nobody likes their daughters to lose, but you also have to prepare your children for that (lose). Not because your name is Barraza, Villanella or Huárac, you will have things easier, on the contrary, it is a double job”, he said.

Tomate Barraza also appreciated that he agrees with his daughter's participation in Miss Peru La Pre, stressing that he will support her in all the decisions she makes despite the fact that at the moment the beauty contest is in the eye of the storm.

“I am never going to stop being surprised by the wonderful daughter I have, and I will also support her no matter what happens, whatever it costs me, with nails, claws and teeth. It's not my fault that she's such a pretty girl, that's when things are done with love,” she said.

GAELA BARRAZA DOWNPLAYS CRITICISM

Gaela Barraza became one of the winners of Miss Peru La Pre alongside Kyara Villanella, Alondra Huarac and Mia Loveday. For this reason, social media users called three of them the 'daughters of the famous', claiming that they did not win the contest on their own merit, but because of their famous parents.

In this regard, the 14-year-old came out to defend herself, stating that none of them decided to participate in the beauty pageant thinking about the criticism they would receive, but to make a name for herself in the local media.

“Well, there will always be bad comments, all our lives and worse if there are daughters of public figures in the contest, as is the case with Alondra, Kyara and me, but we don't come here to talk about our families, but about who we really are, we,” he said.

TOMATO BARRAZA DEDICATES A TENDER MESSAGE TO HIS DAUGHTER

Through her official Instagram account, Tomate Barraza shared a tender message highlighting her pride in her daughter and assured her that, along with her mother Danuska Zapata, they would support her in everything she needs to become the next Miss Peru.

“The good news will always overcome everything bad that we may be going through. Gaela, my daughter, I am proud of your achievements and continue steadily on your way in Miss Peru La Pre”, the first lines of her text read.

“You have the potential to make your dreams come true and your parents will always be by your side to support you I love you my princess”, he concluded accompanied by a photograph of his little girl.
