The libertarian economist, Javier Milei, drew his third diet as a national deputy for the month of February, among 2,062,000 participants. The winner is called Cecilia Agüero and she is a resident of San Antonio de Padua, Buenos Aires province.
“I'm going to use it to finish my house,” exclaimed the 26-year-old. “It is a joy that I can help a person finish their home,” the national deputy replied to Cecilia, who was awarded the amount of 347,157 pesos.
Then, in dialogue with Infobae, the winner added: “I am very happy. I will be able to fulfill my dream of being able to finish the house, we have been building for 2 years now.” “I do things cleaning houses,” said Cecilia, who lives with her aunt, who feels like a mother, since I raised her from a very young age, three brothers, two nephews and her boyfriend. And he confided: “Honestly, I couldn't vote for him because he appeared in the Federal Capital, but because of the situation in the country today I see him as a possible alternative.”
Through the economist's official Instagram account, the draw was carried out by the legislator's sister, Karina Milei. The winner's details were published at the same time it was defined, along with the last three digits of her document.
The draw for the parliamentary diet will be held every month under the same modality, being broadcast live each time. Individuals born in Argentina and over 18 years of age may register for the competition. To do so, they must register on the page https://mipalabra.javiermilei.com.
A little over a month ago, Milei had proceeded in the same way with his second salary as deputy of the Nation and the winner turned out to be a libertarian follower. “This time he played on our side,” the economist laughed, recalling that at the first opportunity it was won by a Kirchnerist.
Of the more than 1,740,000 registered participants at that time for the national legislator's diet for the month of January, Jonatan Lewczuk, an audiovisual producer from the Buenos Aires town of Lanús, was elected, who received 369,828 pesos.
“What are you doing Jonatan, you won the 370 lucas”, Milei surprised the winner of the raffle by communicating by telephone. “Javier dear, I follow you to die,” Lewczuk replied. “Come on, this time I play our side,” the deputy celebrated, referring to the winner of the first raffle who confessed to being a sympathizer of Kirchnerism.
After the joking exchange, Jonatan told the economist that he is an audiovisual producer, that he was “full of debts” and that he would use part of the money to invest in equipment for his activity. “I'm full of joy, it doesn't come into me, the reality is that it came to my hair, I still don't understand, it came to me at the right time,” he said excitedly.
Although the beneficiary confessed to communing with Milei's ideas, he did not vote for the list of La Libertad Avanza because he lives in Lanús. “I follow him from moment zero, he is a transparent guy. A guy who has a word is to follow him. I laughed that the previous winner was K, look how crazy that in spite of everything it can be given to anyone”, he added.
Minutes later, Karina Milei proceeded to transfer live the deputy's salary for the month of January. “The money taken from taxpayers goes back to the taxpayers themselves. They steal from us and here we return what is theirs,” declared the national legislator who closed the broadcast with his classic proclamation: “Long live freedom, damn it!”
