Against the forecast that questioned whether The Last King: The Son of the People, the Televisa series that portrays the life and trajectory of Vicente Fernández, would air or not after the pronouncement of María del Refugio Abarca, the artist's widow, and the order to suspend the broadcast that a judge would have requested, the first chapter was finally aired.

In this work, Juan Osorio, its producer, assured that the public will be able to learn about aspects of the charro's personal life, his romances, and his fatherly side, since it is based on interviews, testimonies and some unpublished revelations.

With the first installment, we were able to meet the characters of the series based on the text of the same name by the Argentine journalist Olga Wornat, who in recent days launched herself against the claims of the Fernández dynasty defending her participation in the bioseries as an exercise in freedom of expression.
