A complaint of workplace harassment involving several women in Bogotá was reported through social networks. In the security camera videos, one of the moments when José Ferney Millán, owner of the company JM Salud y Belleza, verbally assaults his collaborators was documented.

This audiovisual material was shared on Instagram where it is possible to see and hear the insults and aggression of the subject against women who work for his company.

In the videos mentioned above, there was evidence of the moment when the man, obviously altered, shouts at the women he works with and threatens to extend his working hours until late at night.

Likewise, at one point the owner of JM Salud y Belleza is also seen abruptly approaching one of the workers to verbally assault her.

“So give us 10 o'clock tonight (...) you answer me for all those millions,” said the man, also using rudeness, and then went on top of one of the workers and yelled in her face: “She understood me, she understood me or she didn't, or she's going to keep screwing it up.”

Then, it is seen when he grabs what looks like a glass of water and throws it on the floor, causing fear in the workers, and yells at the same woman he assaulted earlier to start cleaning the mess he did with what he threw away. At that moment the woman gets up from her post and it is in the video that it is evident that she was crying.

From another security camera, located in what would be the office of José Ferney Millán, you can see the moment when he shouts disproportionately at the same woman and even at one point knocks the door, leaving only the two of them in that place.

On several occasions, the man unexpectedly approaches the worker to shout at her very loudly while she tries to do what he is asking of her.

In another clip, which apparently corresponds to a different day, we see the moment when a worker opens the door of the place for Millán to enter while he walks in shouting: “The first one who tells me something goes to the big put* shit* today”. In the face of his insults, whoever opened the door for him makes a gesture of apparent fear.

It should be noted that in that last scene there was a minor in the place, who witnessed all the insults suffered by the workers of the site, who apparently included her mother.

This complaint, which was shared on several Instagram profiles, was made by the feminist movement known as RedFem.

Rejection on social networks

The video quickly generated a wave of comments rejecting Millán's violent behavior against women.

“How lazy people like that, no more labor abuse”, “I can't believe that such companies continue to exist”, are other comments.

It should be noted that, according to the date in the security camera videos, the events occurred more than a year ago; however, until now this complaint has been made public, since ill-treatment in the company JM Salud y Belleza seems to continue. According to some comments on social networks, this place would be located in the town of Bosa, south of Bogotá.
