Pablo Montero defended his leading unauthorized bioseries: “I know I have the blessing of Don Vicente”

After months of waiting and in the midst of the controversy over not having the authorization of the Fernández dynasty, Televisa Univision premiered El Último Rey: El hijo Del Pueblo, series that tells the life of Charro de Huentitán. As expected, part of the cast and production came together to enjoy the first episode that arrived on the Canal de Las Estrellas on Monday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m., central Mexico.

Among the actors who gathered at the venue, the protagonist, Pablo Montero, who commented that the chapters are the result of the great effort that the entire production has made over the last few months, said that he is very happy to be part of the ambitious project and hinted at giving life to Vicente Fernández was a dream come true.

“We have put a lot of work into each of us who integrate this project and the respect with which it is being done. Personally, what I have to do, to play Vicente, because I am always taking care of all the details and it has been very exciting this adventure, this gift from God and this blessing of being able to play someone I love and admire,” he declared for Hoy.

Prior to the premiere of the bioseries, the performer of Mi piquito de oro took to his Instagram account to share with his followers his feelings about the work he did on the project. With a nostalgic tone, he also confessed that the project marked his life and thanked producer Juan Osorio for choosing him for the lead.

“In all the professions that exist, I am sure that we have all gone through projects that mark us personally, The Last King is for me that. I want to thank everyone involved in advance for making this possible, Juan Osorio for giving me the opportunity to be part of it and all of you my beautiful people who always accompany and support me,” he wrote.

Within the message, Pablo Montero expressed his position regarding the statement released by María del Refugio Abarca, better known as Doña Cuquita, who assured that Vicente Fernández had not agreed with him taking him to the small screen.

Pablo is a good boy, but he knows that his image is not the one that Vicente would have approved and he knows that since November he was participating in the dark in the illegal Televisa series, while Vicente was fighting for his life calling himself a supposed friend of our family”, it reads.

However, the singer said the opposite, considering that he has his approval: “I hope you enjoy this series that we did with great respect and a lot of heart, I know that I have the blessing of Don Vicente Fernández”, he concluded.

On the other hand, during the special event, Iliana Fox was also present, who plays the widow of Charro de Huentitán. Regarding this, the actress commented that she is very excited to be part of the main cast and commented that the story touched her heart in a positive way.

“I feel very happy, really privileged. I am very excited, I feel my soul touched in a very beautiful way to be able to play Cuquita and tell such an important story for Mexico and for the whole world,” she declared in front of the morning cameras.

Finally, César Évora confessed that he has always been a fan of the ranch music idol in Mexico and recalled that he was very surprised to learn about his heartfelt departure. Also present during the event was Mara Patricia Castañeda, who did not want to give any statements about it.
