Mayra Rojas apologized to Sasha Sokol after her controversial statements about Luis de Llano

Through a statement, the actress acknowledged the mistake she would have made in not considering the singer's public complaint and offered an apology

It was within the framework of the 8M, Women's Day, that Sasha Sokol pointed out an alleged abuse of her former representative Luis de Llano when she was 14 years old. After that, various personalities of the show positioned themselves in favor of the former Timbiriche; however, not all artists showed their most empathetic side, such was the case with Mayra Rojas, who even blamed the singer's mother for not taking care of her.

The actress's comments caused strong criticism against her, so on March 13 she offered an apology to her colleague. It was through a statement she shared on all her social networks that Mayra Rojas decided to talk about what was said previously and asked the Mexican interpreter for a public apology.

I wish to publicly state that I will never be in favor of anyone who submits, pity, offends and abuses a woman, let alone a boy or girl. I will always be in favor of the punishment that the law imposes in the face of the irreparable harm that these events may cause. I am proud of the courage of those who raise their voices and ask for justice,” wrote the 57-year-old female host.

“I will defend my position against asking parents to listen, care for and protect the integrity of their children, no matter how little it may seem. With this I do not try to take any position with the parties involved and not point out guilty or innocent, just to reiterate that with Luis de Llano and Sasha Sokol there will always be a great relationship. Always in favor of the victim”, concluded the proclamation.

Later, and in order to avoid some reprisals by Internet users, the Mexican interpreter decided to block the messages, but before closing the comment box, some netizens managed to blame Mayra Rojas for what was said in Ventaneando a few days ago.

After some unfortunate statements... or are you going to say they were misunderstood? ” and “How? Have you changed your mind yet? How unfortunate what you said”, are some statements recovered via Twitter.

It was on March 12 when the interpreter who gave life to Yolanda in the new version of The Rich People Also Cry, offered her stance for the TV Azteca evening program, there he commented that he had very personal memories with the then producer and emphasized that he always considered him a faultless man, despite the accusations of Sasha Sokol.

“I have known Luis for many years, for me Luis was a man who was faultless with my sister and me, a man who opened the doors of his house to me, who gave me the enormous opportunity to open up as an actress. A man who never dared even if he was drunk because we partied many times together,” he shared.

He also took advantage of Ventaneando's microphones to launch a question to Sasha Soko's closest family environment: “Where was Sasha's mom there?” , he questioned.

“What many moms put their children to work to live in a world that no longer touched them, I don't want my daughter to stop being a girl to become these great monsters that Timbiriche was and maybe they lived a childhood that I don't want for my daughter,” she stressed.

In addition, the well-known model recalled the different moments she shared with the singer while she was part of the cast Muñecos de papel, where she highlighted that she lived intimate moments with the members.

“I met Sasha at a stage where she herself said 'I don't know what I want, I don't know if I want this or I want that' which is very valid. (...) I can't share with you what I experienced with them because I experienced very strong things and it would be very unwise of me to talk about something so intimate”, he concluded.
