Justice ordered new raids and analyzes arrests for the attack on the Senate office of Vice President Cristina Kirchner, including Roberto “El Negro” Martino, the leader of the Historical Teresa Rodríguez Movement (MTR), who would have been identified as one of the eight people who threw stones at Congress while the agreement was being discussed with the International Monetary Fund.
Another member of the same group was arrested last night: Jaru Alexander Rodríguez Carrero, a 29-year-old Venezuelan citizen, who last entered the country in 2018 and who since then has been a member of the Historic MTR.
Martino is not an unknown activist to judges. He was imprisoned in the Marcos Paz Prison, accused of organizing an escrache in 2009, during the 61st anniversary of the State of Israel convened by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and which he took in the vicinity of that country's embassy.
The leader of the Historical MTR (that movement is divided into five organizations) was accused of being “the organizer of the escrache, inciting hatred against a group of people because of their religion, nationality or political ideas; illegitimate possession of a weapon of war, possession of flammable material and possession of authentic alien ID”. As a result, he was at large and was arrested, according to the judicial records accessed by Infobae, on May 4, 2010.
The lawyers who took his defense are not unknown either. At the head of the group of lawyers is Eduardo “Negro” Soares, the president of the Lawyers Union. It is the same organization that sponsors a group of Mapuche people accused in Patagonia of starring in violent acts. One of the founders of the Lawyers Guild is former montonero leader Roberto Perdia.
Soares responded within the organization Montoneros to Perdía, a lawyer who is also part of the Guild. They are the same ones who represented several of the usurpers of the mega-takeover of Guernica, in the Buenos Aires party of Presidente Perón.
The first prisoner in the cause was Oscar Santillán, also a member of the Historic MTR. The City Police arrested him for the crimes of damage, arson, attack and resistance to authority. This is another case and is being conducted by the Criminal Court of Contraventional and Misdemeanors 23 of the City of Buenos Aires. However, her face was also identified among the eight who attacked the office of the provisional president of the Senate.
In the last few hours, the arrest of the Venezuelan citizen was followed by the novelty of the five raids requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office of CABA, covering the Buenos Aires localities of San Isidro, Esteban Echeverria, Libertad and Quilmes.
Among the places with a search request are the Central Headquarters of the Teresa Rodríguez Movement, which is part of the illicit society under investigation, in which three CPUs, 1 computer, 2 notebook, 1 hard disk, photos, Molotov bombs, MTR brochures, documentation with pamphlets and the list of attendees have already been hijacked to the marches of March 10, 2022, that of the day of the incidents.
These findings were made within the framework of the procedures required by the East Flagrance Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office in San Isidro. It was during these proceedings that Jaru Alexander Rodríguez Carrero was arrested, who was kidnapped by a camouflaged windbreaker jacket and a brown and orange cap used at the time of the criminal acts committed in the vicinity of the National Congress, four computers and a CPU; also 9 cell phones, leaflets of the MTR movement, 7 pendrive, a camera, a scale, a shekel machine for growing marijuana plants, a tent and a thermal bag, a box with 7 warm bulbs, 4 agro LED fans, 3 PH meters.
Among other elements, DDI San Isidro troops found a photo of Molotov bombs, a compressed air rifle, a knife, a white board with annotations and more than eleven kilos of cannabis sativa. For these discoveries, four other people who were on the scene were also arrested, not because of incidents in Congress, but because of marijuana cultivation. In this case, the accused were placed before the courts of the province of Buenos Aires.
In the search required by the East Flagrancia Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Esteban Echeverria, 5 cell phones, 1 notebook with notes and several leaflets of the MTR Movement were hijacked.
Of great importance to the Buenos Aires judicial authorities is the action of the Judicial Investigations Corps of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the City of Buenos Aires, the Crimes Against Public Order Division of the City Police and the Anti-Terrorism Division of the City Police, which was convened for the investigation.
Unlike Roberto “El Negro” Martino, the Venezuelan and also a militant of the Historical MTR has no criminal record. According to this media outlet, he entered the country for the first time on October 12, 2015. It crossed from the Uruguayan city of Cologne by sea. He did it for the Buquebus company. The last time he entered Argentina, or at least that his passage was recorded, was on February 21, 2018. On that occasion, he arrived from the Villazón border crossing, in La Quiaca, he came from Bolivia.
In the last few hours, federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, who already had part of the file, asked to take over the entire investigation and requested the inhibition of the Buenos Aires magistrate Norberto Circo so that he can no longer act in the cause.
