In recent years, Quintana Roo has moved from a favorite beach destination for domestic and foreign tourists to one of the most dangerous states in the United States.

On Tuesday morning, a bag containing human remains was found on the beach of Gaviota Azul, located 9 km from the Cancun hotel area.

According to the first report, tourists walking very early on the beach found black bags in the sand, informed the hotel staff where they were staying, and later it was from 12:00 to around 911.

Experts from the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo), as well as elements of state police and civil protection, arrived at the scene and blocked the area to perform the procedure. They confirmed that the bones were the spine, pelvis, and femur.

It is estimated that a bag with bones arrived with waves, but so far there is no confirmation from the authorities that have packed the evidence for analysis.

However, this human remains could belong to Francisco Luis Alberto Talavera, a 26-year-old Paraguayan tourist, who was reported missing on Sunday, March 6, wearing a colorful swimsuit.

The young man was last seen in Playa Delfines and arrived to attend the wedding, so the authorities developed an operation because it is believed that he was taken to the sea from there.

Additional information in development.
