In the most recent episode of 'The Box Challenge', on Monday, March 14, the last team test of the first cycle was held, before the Death Challenge in which some competitor will leave the program. At the end of the fifth chapter, the defiants are seen preparing for a costume party, and Father Torvic was seen helping a teammate.
Although the winners of the 'Challenge of Judgment, Prize or Punishment' were the contestants of the Alpha team, two members of the other houses are invited to enjoy with them. Alpha won the ground test in the 'Yellow Box', winning a costume party and three million pesos, with the motivation of preventing Tarzan and Otoniel from having to shave their hair, since one of them had already expressed his intention to to withdraw if he was forced to do so.
With a game of 'Stone, Paper and Scissors', Alpha players decided which team - between Beta and Gamma, because they made an alliance with Omega - they were going to give the punishment; Gamma was punished and, although his men have no problem with shaving, none of the women want to do it and they are thinking of leaving the competition.
The party was invited: Lina and Samir, from Beta; Maleja and Skirla, from Gamma; and Liz and Karla, from Omega. At home Omega, they are without services, so cleaning up the mud from the Yellow Box to go to the party was a problem for them.
Fortunately for them, they had the pool water available to them for bathing, several women were helping Liz to clean herself; while Anna was being helped by Father Torvic, which generated comments from the other teammates.
Víctor Hugo Gaviria Molina, is a priest and current member of Omega; his profile within the competition is atypical, considering that most of the contestants are usually influencers or models apart from being athletes. He has also surprised viewers with his dance steps and physical appearance, flattered even by his Omega teammates.
“The father is committing a sin,” said one of the defiant ones when she saw the religious man pouring water with a pot on Anna, who is wearing a bathing suit. For his part, Father Torvic reacted with laughter and pointed out that he was doing “a good deed”.
In addition, to Anna's peace of mind he said: “I'm just looking, I'm not looking much, calm down.” For their part, the other companions supported him by pointing out that what he was doing was not a sin, and they joked that he was baptizing her with holy water.
“He's baptizing the girl, Father. He is giving him God's blessing”, before this comment the other participants asked the priest if he also wanted to baptize them.
For the religious, being in the Challenge is an opportunity to show that priests can do other things besides their common duties as part of their personal growth: “My two great strengths are the camandula and the Bible. God, if it is your will to be able to be there and bear witness to you, welcome, so be it,” the ecclesiastical assured Pilar Schimtt, entertainment presenter on 'Caracol Television'.
According to El Universal, Victor Hugo is 32 years old and was born in Buga; he is passionate about his priestly vocation and sport, which is why he always seeks to combine both things. For him, his motto that always accompanies him is: “After conscience does not harass me, everything is fine.”
He pointed out that sport is something that has accompanied him all his life as well as dancing, because like most Vallecaucanos he loves salsa and is a good dancer. That is why from his networks he appealed to his followers and asked them to support him in order to fulfill his dream of winning a contest like this: “Just as I love in quantity what I do, my priesthood, giving myself to people, making Christ present in the community, I am also passionate about sports. I am a multifunctional athlete, I am in various sports disciplines (skating, swimming and kick boxing).”
