A new season of the comedy created by the journalist and actor, Sebastian Wainraich, is coming to Netflix, Almost Happy. Directed by Hernán Guerschuny, but written and starred by the comedian, the production tells the story of the life of Seba (Wainraich), a radio host who is in the midst of the 40s crisis, and who is also separated from his ex-wife (Natalie Pérez) and has two children with whom he never ends connecting. Here is an exclusive preview of the second season.

In this second season, Seba will continue to deepen the conflicts he maintains with all his ties: his brother, his ex-wife who is expecting twins from another man from whom he also separated, his co-workers who do not respect him in the least, and his children who challenge him as they grow and form their own personality .

Again, the same question arises: can Sebastian be happy? The thing is that this character's life has that mix between the taste of fame and the internal conflict in their relationships. But humor is a tool that he resorts to try to lead a calmer existence (although not only does the character resort to humor, but the plot itself so that dramatic moments become the closest thing to a comedy).

The character was encouraged to talk about the mourning of separation, loneliness, the projects that were left on the road and the need to shuffle and give again. Is it possible to have lost the compass at the age of 40-something? Almost happy addresses this midlife crisis that may come to some sooner or later, but which inevitably knocks on our door at some point. The key is to go through it in the best possible way resting on a mattress of good bonds.

With football as another protagonist in the plot of Almost Happy, Sebastian traces his link with the club of his loves: Atlanta. There we see him unleash his anger and frustrations, because it is a space where no one demands anything from him and it can really be him. There is also no shortage of moments of reflection and balances, and not only on the part of the characters, since the spectator is also invited to take an introspective look at their own experiences and the course of their life.

Almost happy has a very Argentinean, porteño look more than anything else, in the way the characters are linked to each other, in the ways of meeting, in affective relationships. With short and effective episodes, the series also knew how to incorporate the different guest stars, who knew how to give a touch of renewal to the central plot. Some of the most solvent special appearances were those of Julieta Díaz, Dalia Gutmann, Adrián Suar and Juan Minujín, among others.

The stable cast of Casi Feliz, composed of Sebastian Wainraich, Natalie Pérez, Santiago Korovsky, Peto Menahem, Lucas Wainraich, Sofía Guerschuny Pesci and Miguel Ángel Podesta, is joined by new guest actors, a resource that was widely used in the first season and now returns for more. We will see Carla Peterson, Benjamin Amadeo, Julieta Díaz, Roberto Moldavsky, Carlos Portaluppi, Rafael Ferro, Daniel Hendler, Diego Gentile, Gustavo Garzón, Adriana Aizemberg and Maria Abadi, among others, participate as special collaborators.
