Details of the operation to arrest “El Huevo” Trevigno, leader of the Northeast cartel, are revealed

Between Sunday night on March 13 and early hours on Monday 14, 38 armed attacks and riots occurred in Nuevo Laredo in retaliation for the occupation of Juan Gerardo Trevino Chávez, leader of the Northeast Cartel (CDN). There are about 20 military bases, military housing units and 13 blocks in different areas of the city.

Rosa Isella Rodriguez, head of the Secretariat of Security and Civil Protection (SSCPC); Secretary of Defense Luis Crescensio Sandoval (SEDENA); Ricardo Mezia, Deputy Secretary of Security Civil Protection; led a press conference detailing the work carried out since the occupation of Del Huevo until its relocation to Mexico City.
