Camilo heartbroken by the death of a friend: “I cry to think that Indigo will not be able to know you”

Camilo Echeverry is a renowned Colombian artist, who has been welcomed as another member of the Montaner family, since he is married to Evaluna Montaner and is expecting their first child. However, the artist is currently facing a moment of mourning, after the loss of a dear friend: the journalist Gerardo Rozín.

Rozín died on March 11, at the age of 51, after a year of being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The man was a renowned Argentine journalist and presenter, known for programs such as Gracias por venir, thanks for being; Morfi, everyone at the table; and La Peña de Morfi, on the Telefe network.

Rozín was a close friend of the Montaner family and, therefore, with Camilo. After his death, the Colombian artist dedicated a painful message to the journalist and regretted that his son Indigo was not going to meet the Argentine journalist.

“It's like you watching your whole life from another balcony when someone you love leaves the material plane,” the Colombian singer began to write. “I'm still not processing it yet... and I don't want to be sad, because you wouldn't have wanted that,” Echeverry added.

The artist continued to talk about the pain caused by the death of the Argentine journalist and pointed out that “I cry to think that Indigo will not be able to meet his Jewish uncle in person. The p... mother. It comforts me to know that what is real about you is eternal. I love you.”

For her part, Evaluna Montaner also dedicated a publication similar to Rozín. “We're going to miss you Uncle Rozín. But in heaven there are the best restaurants and the most beautiful music. We all love you,” wrote the singer.

In the same way, one of Gerardo Rozín's eternal friends was also Ricardo Montaner, who also dedicated an emotional publication to him. The singer not only forged a working bond with the driver, but both managed to create a very close relationship, in which they visited each other, shared birthdays, family events and, of course, the love of music.

“I'm going to miss you so much, Uncle Gerardo,” wrote the jury of La Voz on his Twitter account as soon as news of the death of his Argentinian friend was released along with a photo complicit in a shared dinner.

“I've been friends with an amazing man for the past 17 years. The best interviewer I ever had and one of the fingers of my hand that tells the few real friends I have,” added the Venezuelan singer on his Instagram account.

He highlighted the different religious beliefs they had and that none of that separated them. “I told him about God because it was my duty and although he didn't believe me, he knew how to listen to me with emotion and respect to my faith, to the faith he said he didn't have. Anyway, I am sure that God in his infinite mercy has already received him up there on top of the sky,” the leader of the Montaner clan concluded his message.

Likewise, brothers Mau and Ricky Montaner also made their pain public, calling Gerardo Rozín, Uncle Rozín. “Let's miss every laugh together, your recommendations of restaurants that were always the best and the battle to pay the bill you always won.
