Café Tacvba announce two concerts in Barcelona and Madrid in September

Madrid, 15 Mar The prestigious Mexican band Café Tacvba will offer two concerts in Spain next September, one at the Razzmatazz1 hall in Barcelona on the 2nd and the other, on the 4th, at the La Riviera hall in Madrid. According to its press office, tickets will go on sale this coming Friday, March 18, from 10 am through Live Nation and its regular distributor, with a pre-sale in the case of the capital's “show” starting on March 16 at 10 am for those registered on the official website of this promoter. In 2018, as part of the “Niu Güeis Tur” tour, the last visit to Spain of this group considered a great ambassador and promoter of alternative rock in Mexico took place. Then they also performed in Madrid and Barcelona. Active since their formation in Ciudad Satélite (Mexico) in 1989, Café Tacvba is characterized by the combination of rock with themes and sounds typical of their country's folklore, which has earned them awards such as the Grammy for best Latin alternative rock album for “Cuatro Caminos” (2004) and nine other Latin Grammys. From the namesake “Café Tacvba” (1992) with which he started his discography, throughout his career they have released eight studio albums in total, to “Jei Beibi” (2017), produced like many of their works by the prestigious Gustavo Santaolalla. Fallow for works with songs unreleased since then, their last album released to date dates back to 2019 and consists of an acoustic for the MTV network, the second of their career (the first one was released in 2005).
