Oil fell briefly below US$100 a barrel after a recent increase that caused inflation fears. 10-year yields on Treasury bonds reached the highest level since 2019.

  • Germany's 10-year bond yield rose 12 basis points to 0, 37%
  • UK 10-year bond yields advanced 10 basis points to 1.59%

commodities

  • West Texas Intermediate crude fell 6.7% to US$102.04 a barrel
  • Gold futures fell 1.5% to $1,955.70 an ounce
