A few days before the start of the 12th season of Formula 1 this 2022, Sergio Checo Pérez has already seen himself and shared what his first goal will be for this year together with Red Bull Racing. After the outstanding performance he had last season, in which he placed fourth in the Drivers' Championship, the tapatio is ready to hit the top speed track.
The first year with the Red Bull team allowed him to be among the first places in the final standings, as a teammate of Max Verstappen, Checo demonstrated his skills at the helm of the car and raised his hand to be a leading figure in Formula 1. Now in an interview with Marca Claro, Pérez told what his main goal will be this 2022.

It should be remembered that Checo was a key player in the 2021 season for Verstappen to win first place in the Drivers' Championship, now the Mexican he would seek to surpass his teammate and become the benchmark for Red Bull.
In addition, Pérez described what the relationship is like with the Dutch driver and the rest of the members of the Austrian team. “We have a good relationship, there is a good atmosphere in the team and we are very excited about this new season.”
