Barcelona defeat Mallorca 1-0 on Sunday at Estadi de Son Moix. Mallorca were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Granada while Barca were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-2 victory against Elche. As the table looks today, Mallorca are in 15th place, with 20 points from 19 matches, while Barca sit in 5th, with 31 points from 19.
Los Blaugranas started the first half well, thanks to Luuk De Jong giving Barca the lead just before half-time and seeing the first half out 0-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
For Mallorca, Fernando Nino, Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta, Jordi Mboula, Javier Llabres and Abdon, came on for Angel Rodriguez, Iddrisu Baba, Antonio Sanchez, Kang In Lee and Rodrigo Battaglia. Barca brought on Alvaro Sanz, Clement Lenglet and Estanis Pedrola, to replace Nicolas Gonzalez, Óscar Mingueza and Ilias Akhomach.
There were bookings for Jaume Costa, Abdon, Pablo Maffeo, Dani Rodriguez and Martin Valjent from Mallorca, and Ferran Jutgla and Clement Lenglet, for Barca.
Barca and Mallorca will next play away to Granada and Levante respectively.
