Visitors leave with nothing as Lazio see off Parma in 1-0 victory

Lazio eased past Parma in a 1-0 victory on Wednesday at the Stadio Olympico. Both Lazio and Parma arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Lazio arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Fiorentina while Parma lost 5-2 in the last match they played against Atalanta. After today's result, Lazio and Parma currently occupy 6th and 19th spots in the table, with 67 points and 20 points respectively after 36 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Lazio applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Ciro Immobile just before the final whistle. The game ended 1-0 to Lazio.

For Lazio, Gonzalo Escalante, Joaquin Correa, Luiz Felipe, Jean Akpa and Felipe Caicedo, came on for Danilo Cataldi, Vedat Muriqi, Stefan Radu, Marco Parolo and Patric. Parma brought on Vincent Laurini, Andreas Cornelius, Yordan Osorio, Alberto Grassi and Chaka Traore, to replace Riccardo Gagliolo, Graziano Pelle, Mattia Bani, Simon Sohm and Juan Brunetta.

There were bookings for Francesco Acerbi from Lazio, and Juan Brunetta, Riccardo Gagliolo and Hernani, for Parma.

Lazio will next travel to Roma, while Parma will face Sassuolo at home.
