EL COU OTORGA UNA NUEVA BECA OLÍMPICA PARA ENTRENADORES

El Comité Olímpico Uruguayo, a través del Departamento de Solidaridad Olímpica del Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI), ha otorgado una nueva beca para el perfeccionamiento de entrenadores uruguayos.

En este marco, el entrenador de Atletismo, Sebastián Allende, se encuentra participando en el 41º Curso de Ciencias Aplicadas al Deporte para Entrenadores, en Barcelona, España. La capacitación tendrá 3 meses de duración y va del 4 de abril al 2 de julio de este año.

Esta formación es brindada en conjunto por el Centro de Alto Rendimiento de Sant Cugat del Vallés y el Instituto Nacional de Educación Física de Cataluña y cuenta con un cuerpo docente de ambas instituciones que combinan teoría y práctica de las ciencias aplicadas al deporte, entre ellas: informática, psicología, medicina, nutrición, fisiología del ejercicio, biomecánica, antropometría, teoría del entrenamiento, gestión deportiva.

El Ent. Sebastián Allende, se suma así al grupo de especialistas uruguayos que han accedido a este tipo de apoyo, cuyo objetivo principal es brindar una formación de alto nivel, para que los técnicos adquieran experiencia y conocimientos que transmitirán a sus respectivas estructuras deportivas nacionales.
