(ATR) More than 200 guests filled the ballroom at the Azimuth Hotel next to the Sochi Olympic Park to toast the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
IOC president Thomas Bach, his predecessor Jacques Rogge, IOC executive board members, and leaders of the 49 European Olympic Committees were among the guests at the dinner.
Azerbaijani fare was served throughout the dinner with traditional music adding to the atmosphere.
Minister of youth and sport Azad Rahimov was the host for the evening along with European Olympic Committees president Patrick Hickey. The European Games are a property of the EOC and will debut in Baku in June 2015.
