(ATR) SportAccord and CNN are teaming up.
CNN will be the Top Media Partner for both SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2020 in Beijing, and the inaugural Regional SportAccord Pan America 2019 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
SportAccord 2020 will take place at the China National Convention Center from April 19-24. The annual World Sport & Business Summit is the only global sports business event attended by all the international sport federations and their stakeholders, who host their Annual General Assemblies during SportAccord.
The inaugural Regional SportAccord Pan America 2019, which runs from Dec. 10-12, will be held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. It will be the first networking and conference event to bring the Pan American, and the Olympic and non-Olympic communities together in one location.

LIXIL Expands Tokyo 2020 Partnership
Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner LIXIL signs on as the first Presenting Partner for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Torch Relay.
LIXIL, a Japanese company that makes water and housing products, also manufactured the material used for the Paralympic Torch, which was created from window sashes and other components from the temporary housing for evacuees of the Great East Japan Earthquake as new symbols of hope to pass along to the future.
As a Presenting Partner, LIXIL will recruit torchbearers and conduct other events to contribute to the success of the Torch Relay.
"We are delighted to welcome LIXIL as a Presenting Partner of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Torch Relay," Yoshiro Mori, President of the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, said after signing the deal this week.
"A company whose products are deeply intertwined in people’s lives, LIXIL has developed its ‘Universal Run’ programme giving children across the nation the opportunity to experience diverse and harmonious lifestyles. I am confident that through its participation in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Torch Relay, LIXIL will play its part in helping to realise a universal society."
Davis Cup Scores Sponsor
The International Tennis Federation and Kosmos Tennis on Friday announced a sponsorship agreement with Bank J. Safra Sarasin.
The global Swiss-based bank with headquarters in Basel will become an Official Partner and the Official Private Bank of the 2019 Davis Cup by Rakuten Madrid Finals as well as the 2020 Davis Cup by Rakuten Qualifiers.
With previous experience in other top-level tennis competitions, Bank J. Safra Sarasin joins the list of international sponsors of the Davis Cup by Rakuten Finals, which will be held at Madrid’s Caja Mágica from Nov. 18-24. The ITF adds that the company’s support for the 2020 Qualifiers "reflects the importance and visibility of this new stage of the competition".
"We very much look forward to the collaboration with Kosmos Tennis and the International Tennis Federation to enable and present the new format of the Davis Cup," said Jacob J. Safra, Chairman of J. Safra Holdings International and Vice Chairman of J. Safra Sarasin Group, in a statement.
For the first time, a week-long Davis Cup finals, consisting of 18 teams, will replace the longstanding formatof four weekends of home and away Davis Cup ties held throughout the year.
