TechnoAlpin and FIS continue partnership
Extended for three additional years, TechnoAlpin and FIS have continued their partnership.
Since 2016 TechnoAlpin, a snowmaking technology, has been the official FIS Product Partner.
In this partnership, TechnoAlpin and FIS have become innovators and merged together to create several ideas.
This past month, FIS Alpine race directors Markus Waldner and Emmanuel Couder visited the TechnoAlpin headquarters in Bolzano, Italy.
"In our experience, dry snow is firmer and easier to groom than wet snow. The slopes can be prepared for public use more easily after the races and we save valuable water resources. We have found TechnoAlpin to be on exactly the same wavelength. We value its many years of experience worldwide and so TechnoAlpin is a key point of contact when it comes to optimising slope quality," said Couder.
During their visit, the FIS Alpine race directors coordinated with officials to further develop snow conditions on the race courses along with touring TechnoAlpin’s new production building and viewing the new TR10 fan gun.
"The feedback from the race directors on our new products and ideas is extremely important for us. There is probably nobody else who comes into such direct contact with our products in so many ski resorts worldwide. So we are delighted that the partnership has been extended and that the constructive input will continue," said TechnoAlpin export manager Benjamin Pötz.
