ITTF, LiebherrRenew

The ITTF renewed its sponsorship agreement with Liebherr.

The German equipment manufacturer has been sponsoring the ITTF since 2003, and the new agreement runs through 2015.

Details of the agreement include:

• Major sponsorship at the 2014 & 2015 World Table Tennis Championships

• Title sponsorship at the 2014 & 2015 Individual Men's World Cup

• Major sponsorship at the 2015 World Team Classic

The company will also work with the ITTF to continue its effort to grow table tennis internationally.

"Liebherr has been a perfect sponsor for the ITTF over the past 10 years," said ITTF President Adham Sharara.

"They have supported our events tremendously and I am very happy that this partnership will be continued until at least 2015 and 5 additional events."

Latvian NOC Partner

Conceptum Sports Logistics agreed to become the official logistics partner for the Latvian Olympic Committee.

The deal, which includes the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, provides transport and logistics for all national sports teams under the NOC.

"We provide athletes with exactly what they need – reliable logistics for the entire team. That means sport can be the focus, not the transport of your own sports gear," says Sebastian Stahl, Managing Director of Conceptum.

IOC Awards Latin America TV Rights

América Móvil will broadcast the 2014 and 2016 Olympics throughout Latin America.

The IOC announced the deal on Friday. The agreement covers 17 countries and does not include Brazil.

"We are extremely pleased with this successful agreement of America Movil with the International Olympic Committee, Arturo Elías Ayub, Telmex Strategic Alliances VP, said. "The Olympic Games will be broadcast on all media platforms across Latin America, supporting the global transmission through new technologies, helping millions of people in Latin America to have access to the biggest international sporting event."
